Roof Scaler 9000

Pulling off the roof is an overwhelming task. It involves a lot of manpower, it’s time-consuming, and worse, some workers get hurt in the process. But thanks to Joshua Fails of Monroeville, AL, we now have the Roof Scaler 9000

But what is Roof Scaler 9000?

This is a new tool invented by Joshua Fails that is used to rip off roof portions at a time, making the task of removing this part of a house easier. The tool comprises of a removal frame that is created using an aluminum pipe. To remove the roof using Roof Scaler 9000, the frame is mounted at the far end of the roof where it loosens tar paper, shingles, and similar roofing materials.

The tool is pulled by a cable and a winch during its operation. In the process, it moves forward pushing all the loose material like a plow. When the material reaches the edge of the building they are pushed down to strategically placed dumpsters making the roofing process very easy.

The Genesis of the Idea

Having been around roofing jobs for years, Joshua Fails understood how overwhelming the process was. One very hot day while volunteering as a crew leader in a church roof removal, Joshua accidentally stumbled on the idea of creating a better tool to complete such tasks—the Roof Scaler 9000.

On the due day, Joshua realized that there was a synthetic tarp paper located under the shingles. He started cutting the paper and he realized he could pull off up to 4 feet of a section at once. When the other crew members saw this, they followed suit making the work that could have taken the twelve crew members half a day to complete, just two hours to do the same.

That’s when Fail realized there ought to be an easier way to do this. It is at that moment he was inspired to start working on a tool that would complete the roofing work without manual labor. And from there the Roof Scaler 9000 was born.

What are the Benefits of Roof Scaler 9000?

For starters, the tool is automated which means there will be no physical strength required to pull off tar paper, shingles, and similar roofing material. This new tool is designed in a way that will help expedite the roof removal process saving a lot of time and money in the process. The loosened material is pulled to the edge of a roof and dropped to strategically placed dumpsters minimizing messes made during roof removal processes. And all this is achieved with bolstered safety and precision.
